Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Connecting flight T+355 Query

    Afternoon all!

Got into this whole points thing a few months ago and thanks to all the tips and tricks on here, I’ve now got a nice sizable pot of avios (250k+) and my 2 for 1 voucher sitting in my exec account.

I’m hoping to use this for a nice trip to Singapore/Vietnam in 2025, but have a little query regarding flight availability.

I understand flights are made available at T+355 but was wondering how this applies to connections.

The route I’m looking at is MAN -> SIN return.

I was planning on booking my outbound flight as soon as they come available which is no problem. However, the flights back appear to leave SIN just before midnight, causing the LHR-MAN leg to fall into the following day.

Does that mean that it won’t let me book the full return journey until the second leg is also within the T+355 limit? Thus meaning the SIN -> LHR leg will have already been available for 24 hours (and most likely been grabbed already!).

    Thanks!

Book connecting and Long haul outbound when available. For Sin you’ll probably be up at midnight!
I’d phone up to book the return from Sin-LHR ( at midnight ) and then the following day ( at a sensible hour!) phone again to add on the domestic which will just have become available. I do this scenario every time I’m booking for far flung places.

    Makes sense! Thanks Jill.

I hadn’t even considered the possibility of just making 2 separate calls for the return.
