A little advice please. I have booked a visit to South Africa in August in Club World using my Barclay Card cabin upgrade voucher. The days booked were off-peak so by my reckoning, the cost of the trip should be 78,000 Avios points (2 x 39,000) for Premium Economy. I had to do it over the phone due to issues with the website recognizing this voucher. However the agent said it was 95,000. I went ahead and booked as I need to go anyway, but am now wondering if the correct amount of Avios has been taken. Am I missing something or should I just go ahead and raise a complaint?

95k is “correct” for PE (see Rob’s chart https://www.headforpoints.com/2023/02/13/how-many-avios-points-do-i-need-to-fly-to/ ).

Just done a dummy booking…OP’s co-pay should have been £450. Hopefully there was no funny business about paying a phone charge since the web site was having trouble with the voucher.
PE is 47,500 avios each way off-peak, that’s the only option you’re given with the Barclays voucher.
Thanks all, that solves that then! I was looking at a chart from another website and it muct be out of date or just inaccurate. Yes, the co-pay was £450, well €450 actually, and I knew to ‘decline’ the £35 charge from all the great advice on here, since the website wasnt allowing the booking. Thanks again.
