Thanks!Can’t answer that specifically but in case it helps, we flew lhr to sgp in economy cash fare 2.5 weeks ago and they offered, via email to upgrade to business for £1.7k each leg
For SQ the mySQupgrade option allows you to upgrade 72 hours before, for a variable price. There are examples of upgrade offers in the mySQupgrade thread on the Flyertalk forums. You can also pay the fare difference, but this may need to be done over the phone. Personally I wouldn’t wait until check in as there may not be any available seats by then.
