Creation IHG card – elite status with IHG expires when?

Does anyone know when the elite status will drop off with Creation card closed? Account still says gold elite and I never had status through nights and no plans to do so.

IHG has extended the status until February of 2023, so you’ll keep it until then at least I guess? Unless they’ll treat “CC-obtained status” differently.

I’m still gold from the Barclaycard visa and I closed that in 2015!

This is my guess – I can’t see IHG’s IT being clever enough to know how the status was earned anyway!
