It’s a bit complicated but the simple answer is not really but that shouldn’t be an issue as there would be no real reason to hold any meaningful sum in Curve Cash and the standard Curve debit card product can’t/doesn’t hold money in any other way.
Curve is an EMI, not a bank or licensed deposit taker. What is generally referred to as Curve cash is actually held on your account as Curve Cash Points (of no nominal value) which are converted into Curve Cash at the point of spend transaction.
