I only have myself to blame on this one. I made a transaction a DC, eligible for a cashback offer, but I’ve just realised that the specific store (Battersea Power Station) is not on the list. It was pointed it to me when I called Amex.
I suspect that, being their newest store, it just didn’t make it in the list for some reason. The list seem to include all their stores, including closed ones, like Surrey Quays.
What a shame!
It may be short sighted, but perhaps you can return in store and go and purchase in another? Not sure what the optics of that would be though. If you see what I mean?
Broadly, the annoying location-specific digging through PDFs can really kill the value of the deals, especially when they limit hotels to Europe and not the US, though I understand why they do it.
