Daytrip from Stockholm

Looking for suggestions of day trips from Stockholm. I’m staying in Central Stockholm for 4 days end of August so wanting to explore outside of Stockholm

If you are interested in art/culture, the Drottningholm Palace (about 25 mins from city) and the Gripsholm Castle (about an hour away) make a good side trip.

Also staying four nights in Stockholm in August… I’ve been told there is plenty to do and see!

Yes I went in March. It’s nothing to get excited about – plat only and it’s essentially a la carte dining (limited variety of food, esp for vegetarians). Some drinks free, with fizz etc at a surcharge. There’s also a centurion area but I didn’t get to go inside. We were on a delayed BA flight so had 4h to kill, and we still only spent 10ish mins inside and only one guest allowed. The lounge BA use is also crap.
