but there are some 100% cash rates that offer bonus points which I think are qualifying for status.
I can’t see them going through all the accounts to weed out who got it from buying Ambassador as opposed to who they gave it to for having previously held the Creation card (or, indeed, through number of stays!)

When booking a stay you will often see the option to pay for extra points per night, something like €5 extra per night for 1000 points per night, other combinations are available. These bonus points count for status.
