Hi,
I have a semi refundable booking, where the date for me to cancel has now passed, and there’s a 100% penalty now if I do.
The email says:
A deposit of GBP ***** will be charged to your credit card on 26 May 2025.
However no money has been taken, though I guess it could at any time.
The email makes no mention of discovery dollars but does say:
Should you opt to use a different card at check-in, any pre-paid amounts will be promptly refunded
I will of course ask the hotel if they will allow the settling of this bill via discovery dollars. But wondering if anyone had paid for bookings like this with Discovery Dollars? Very unfamiliar with this scheme.
