Does Virgin recognise ITA status?

Hoping for some help,

I’ve got the volare premium so equivalent of skyteam elite but do Virgin acknowledge it? i know some airlines still refuse to. Would this give free baggage / seat selection / LHR clubhouse access on economy light fares flying with Virgin?

From memory, your SkyTeam Elite status won’t give you free baggage, because there is none on the ticket to begin with. If you paid for baggage on the Economy Light ticket, you’d get an additional piece, too. Standard seat selection is free of charge with SkyTeam Elite status.

By the time you’ve added baggage, you might well consider just paying for Economy Classic. You’ll earn 25 TPs in Light, versus 50 in LUMYBR.

You will not get Clubhouse access. Only Upper, DL One, Clase Premier, VS Gold, DL Diamond/Platinum (in VS Premium) and Flying Blue Platinum (in VS Premium) get access. Most SkyTeam Elite Plus members do not get Clubhouse access, and this is unlikely to change.
