It worked a couple nights ago but I couldn’t make the available dates work. Then I decided that I could but for two days multiple attempts return
Error: you can not book more than 355 days in advance
That’s not the #*%# problem! I looked on Reward Flight Finder but I still have to book directly with BA so that’s useless.
Can you be a bit more specific about what you’re trying to do?!
Just trying to book a simple Dec-Feb itinerary. Hardly 355 days out.

Which year?
LAX-LHR-JNB 23/24/25 Dec 2024 – 5/6 Feb 2025 (Club World or First)
Just tried 30 Mar 2025-15 Ap 2025 LHR-RAK and get same 355 twaddle
It’s working fine here. At what point do you get the error?

It’s working fine here too – have you tried clearing cookies/different browser etc?
On a mac I only ever use Chrome for BA, which works 99% of the time. Safari is 50% at best.

On mac I use firefox and disable all protection, my chrome has all sorts of blocking extensions.
I installed Chrome and paused VPN – no joy. BA hates me and my 700K Avios.
Very clunky but have you tried making the booking on your phone? Sometimes I can do BA transactions on my mobile that my laptop refuses to entertain!
I tried a one way leg on 17 Dec and it worked! Only hitch was it returned flights for 15 April! LOL
OK, Flight Finder worked but, of course, at this late date I’m out of luck date-wise unless I want to play my Gold card and pay double Avios. No thank you.
Thanks for the help!

Ok, there is something weird going on, but it sounds like your device has been set up with US settings rather than UK.
So you’ve selected 17/12/2024, it’s interpreted that as 12/17/2024 in the set US date format, there’s no month 17 so rather than crash it’s corrected it to 12/05/2024 which is exactly 119 days ago.
You can’t book a date that’s negative, so the negative has been dropped to make that 119 days from now. 15/04/2025 is 119 days from now.
I sit astride both sides of the pond and am fluent in US anomalies. Besides, I selected my dates from the popup calendar. And I usually use a VPN with a London address which may have flummoxed BA IT so I tried pausing it, to no avail. My ancient iPad has the latest OS and using Chrome got me nowhere fast but I suspect you may be partially correct that my presence within the other evil empire is suspect. I’m also at the mercy of a wonky wifi/internet connection in a remote part of said empire. At least there is plenty of moonshine. When I abandoned the Buy With Avios page and used the Flight Finder it worked relatively well as long as I didn’t succumb to irrational exuberance and try clicking on tabs for alternative dates too quickly. That got me a proper scolding!
“It appears you are using multiple tabs.”
“Madam, I’ve been accused of many things but multiple tabs? I protesteth!”
I didn’t succeed with my LAX-LHR-JNB itinerary (Dec-Feb) but I did with LAX-LHR-RAK in April! 😊
Rather shocked at being dinged 190,000 Avios + $950 (CW) for an ‘Off-Peak’ trip though! And that was just LAX-LHR! I only hope the first leg sees me fed properly before the 2100 butty cut-off.
