I am looking at ways to maximize the benefit of the BA Holidays double tier points offer. As far as I can see there is no requirement to start within the UK. So I am looking at XXX-LHR-YYY to access cheaper fares. It is a month-long trip so I want to add a car for only part of it. That means I need to use the advanced search page which forces me to enter individual segments (i.e., XXX-LHR, LHR-YYY, YYY-LHR, LHR-XXX) rather than just XXX-YYY. And when I do that it comes back with no availability on any segment, even though when I do a regular flight search there is plenty of availability. Has anyone com across this problem and worked out how to solve it?
Unfortunately it does have to be ex UK to qualify for the double tier points…..Ts and Cs as follows
1. A “Qualifying Booking” is a British Airways Holidays booking that meets all of the following criteria:
a) The booking must be for a British Airways Holidays Flights + Hotel or Flights + Car or Flights + Hotel + Car package booking originating in the UK only.
Uk does include Jersey , plus all usual UK regional departure airports
Hmm that link is to the old style search which I find to be unreliable.
Start with one on the BA home page for flight + car and then select custom trip.

We did a LHR JER ATH trip for enough points for silver. I couldn’t manage to book it online but when I called up the lady was very helpful & efficient.

Don’t the flights have to be taken before 31/12/2023 per the offer terms & conditions?
You get it for the outbound but not the return I guess – but the T&C are fully outlined on ba.com.
We have just booked flight with one night hotel to be able to get deposit option. Flights are 10 night duration. If we add another 4 nights or 10 days car hire do we qualify for double tier points?

No.
It all needed to be booked in the same transaction.

The hotel/car element of the package must be for a minimum of five nights for travel before 31 December 2023.
