Just realised I had put this question in today’s chat instead of here so hopefully someone will know the answer? I have a Marriott booking for 2 rooms I on points and 1 on cash will I get an elite night credit for the cash one or will the hotel assume I am staying in the one booked on points?

You get ENC’s for both cash and points bookings, so it doesn’t matter which room they assume you’ll be staying in. Either way though, you’ll only get 1 per night.

What if you were booked into 2 different hotels on the same night, the one you are staying in and another at a cheap Moxy across the street? Say during the current double night credit promo.
Would the Marriott IT pick it up or would you be awarded stays at both?

Better to put yourself in the cash room. Technically u should get the elite night for the room you sleep in and only cash rates are eligible for the double night promo
