Hi all,
Read recently regarding issues with lounge access at outstations for ba elites on euroflyer flights. Flying Fao – LGW, will I get lounge access with my boarding pass or need to go check in to get an access voucher?
I know its pretty poor in there but better than nothing!
Thanks:)
I was on the euroflyer FAO-LGW at the end of March and got in (I’m gold) with my wife (silver). And yes, its pretty poor!
I could go through fast track security at FAO but the computer said no to my wife – I thought silver could go through fast track?
BTW the check in process there was a bit of a shambles as they only have 2 check in desks for Euroflyer fights so don’t bank on there being a short queue for BA status holders
Sorry, I have just realised I have not actually answered your question!
I travel to Faro frequently and the lounge is shockingly bad. It is more like a hospital waiting area with plastic chairs and a water cooler. In January, there was no wine on offer – odd for Portugal.. I accessed with LoungeKey so cannnot comment on ba elites but you will have a better experience at a bar in the main departures lobby than at that lounge.
