A few posters have mentioned that BA are refunding eVouchers if requested.

Could I ask who has been successful and what approach they used?

Is it from the 2p per Avios promotion?

No, it’s from a later cancelled flight. I’d prefer the cash than doing a trip I don’t really want to do.

Why not just call them and ask?

‘Hi I have a voucher which I’m not going to be able to use by September is any chance of it being refunded?’

Calling BA is not a simple exercise. Setting aside the wait times, very often you are prevented from even joining the queue to be answered.

I’d also be interested in an answer to the original question if anyone is able. It is certainly more efficient than us all individually calling BA and adding to their “high call volume” (code for under staffed).

Mine are, and so I want approaches on how to avoid a refund.

The only safe option is to spend it on a flight.

You might qualify if your flight was cancelled, these links might be helpful. My voucher is not from a flight that was cancelled so I have to use the voucher.

Yes I think so, and hoping for any reason it’s not cancelled
