In theory the British Airways American Express Premium Plus Cardmembers “will have access to additional Reward flight seats within Club World (business) when booking with a Companion Voucher, subject to availability… “…great but how do you access? I’ve not noticed it on the location I’ve been looking at!
Are you only searching for 2 seats?
Are you always ticking ‘use my companion voucher’ when searching?
Are you only searching 3-4 months before departure, which is when cash fares are lowest and when the extra seats appear (since their appearance is driven by cash ticket costs)?
Are you looking for trips starting in Manchester, Edinburgh, Newcastle etc which have more additional availability because BA charges less for cash from those places because of the pain of connecting in Heathrow?
Hi Rob, yes to 2 seats and box ticked for companion voucher. I’m specifically looking for flights to Tokyo – which I understand are gold dust! I’ve tried from Manchester, does not show anymore availability regretfully. Not sure how the companion ticket would work on Manchester as I’m booking two flights? Does it treat it as one journey?
Sorry to burst in on this but noob query – you’re suggesting 3-4 months pre-departure is a good time to be looking at flights? Is that in general. Was working on assumption the full 11 months ish.

The perfect time is midnight GMT (1am BST) 355 days before. That’s when the normal guaranteed inventory of reward seats is released. The 3-4 months before refers to when ‘additional’ inventory open to holders of the BAPP voucher may become available, no guarantees.
