I’m having an issue with fraud on my account and keep getting through to the Indian call centre who are not understanding my issue. Anyone know how to get through to an English speaking U.K. team.
Thanks.
I think if you call during working hours and select customer relations you’d get the UK
Otherwise weirdly whenever I call the US number in the evening after 8pm I get the UK so could try that !
Have you tried asking to be put through to a member of the UK team? AMEX do it if you ask, BA might too?

I’ve never come across any BA call centre staff that cannot speak English.
Some may have accents but their command of English has always been acceptable at worst.
Have I just been lucky?
The problem I sometimes have is not their English but that they tend to speak too quickly.
@polb it takes two to tango. Perhaps it’s what you are saying and how you are saying it that’s the problem?
I think I was just unlucky. Complex situation and the woman I spoke to first didn’t understand me. I called back and the next person I spoke to sorted the issue no problems.
You first said you keep being connected to the Indian callcentre where they don’t understand your issue.
Now you mention you just spoke to one person who could not help with the second one being able to sort the issue.
Maybe English is not the problem here …
