Got this from BA:
This festive season, when you share the gift of adventure before 15 December, we’re adding 40% bonus Avios on top to make it an experience they’ll treasure forever.
That means if you give them 10,000 Avios they’ll receive 14,000 Avios in total. Or why not treat yourself and top up your own Avios balance.
Purchase bonus isn’t much to write home about. It’s 0.1263p a point if you buy £3.5k worth.
Any hacks on the gifting? Can you, for example, gift your whole balance to somebody in your BA family account to add 40%? Presuming not
When they say “gifting” they mean “buy them for someone else”, not transfer them from your current balance. It is a bit confusing!

Sorry, yes. Decimal place is off. 1.263p per Avios 🤦♂️
Or to look at in another way, you can buy 210000 Avios for £2659 plus taxes. Using the partner redemption chart, that would get you to Australasia or around the world in business class. Bargain!

You can buy points on booster for 0.92p a point. You need the base points to boost but redeeming a sizeable credit card bonus (such as the current 75k Platinum Amex) and boosting 3x, you’d get 225k points for £2070
Moreover, looking at a cash+avios reward flight to Las Vegas. Flight is 190k plus £450 or 61250 plus £2000. That works out at 1.204p a point vs the 1.263 this purported “bonus” offers
