With Hawaiians take over by Alaskan now complete, does this mean that (once the IT is set up), that inter island Hawaiian flights will earn Tier Points?
I’m currently here and those flights are cheap and take about 20 minutes.
So it could be a good way of getting extra TP’s especially if it’s pays 40 TP’s for a 20 minute $100 flight when moving between islands.
It hasn’t joined one world and judging by this AS has no plans to formally integrate
Leaders for the airlines say they will continue to operate as two different brands even though they will share an air operator certificate and booking system. In the meantime, the airlines say flyers can expect no major changes: Flights will continue to operate as normal, and travelers can book their next trips on either airline’s website.
