Forums Payment cards American Express Heathrow Centurion Lounge

    Hi

We are a group of 6 flying from LHR to DXB next month with Emirates economy. Plan on trying out the Centurion lounge given we have 1 plat card plus supplementary (believe each cardholder can bring 2 guests?). Just wanted to know how busy the lounge might get usually around 2pm on a weekday based on peoples experience…to know if its worth even bothering to try? Might try and see if there is an alternative option otherwise…

I managed to pop in there about 2:30 last Friday to check it out for the first time. It was very busy, did manage to get a seat though but getting an area for 6 may be tough. Feels a bit more like a busy restaurant than a tranquil lounge experience but certainly beats the general departure area. Food looked a good offering, didn’t have much as I had been in the oneworld lounges

No reason not to try. It is rather small lounge space so gets full quickly. Definitely worth trying.

I was there today at 11-11:50. It was maybe half full. Not oodles of space for a group of 6 to unravel anywhere, but there was space for 6 if you looked for it. Not quite the busy restaurant vibes others have mentioned, but it was earlier in the day.

Btw the Atlanta Centurion is kick ass. Huge and they have natural light
