Apologies if this is wrong forum or asked before, I’m still learning 🥴.
I’m travelling on Friday on a BA business award flight on Iberia metal to Lanzarote via Madrid.
My question is what lounge (if anyone knows) is best in the morning for lack of crowd and have gluten feee options to eat?
Im a leisure traveller who in the past had tended to use either BA Lounges or lounge of the metal I’m flying on, have never lounged hopped.
Any advice appreciated.https://www.headforpoints.com/uk-airport-lounge-reviews/

Depends what time but both Cathay and Qantas will be open, personally I prefer the latter in the business lounge.
In the afternoon Qantas open their restaurant otherwise cathay has their food available all day.
Technically you can do both

The Qantas restaurant is open for breakfast service too.

I suspect the point being made was that QF has a table service offering to align with their own departures, otherwise you only have the buffet.

Yes they do align the restaurant service to their departures including the 11:50 to Perth, which is why they offer a table service breakfast in the restaurant. And the OP asked about breakfast.
Yup missed the morning part then yeah QF for breakfast
You have access to any (or all) of the OneWorld business lounges – so if the first one looks too busy you can easily go elsewhere. Qantas sit-down service starts at 09:00, which may be too late(?), but there s a buffet upstairs. Otherwise, probably BA or Cathay for breakfast. Cathay has a good breakfast buffet and a noodle bar – not sure how much of any of it is GF though. The quietest space is probably the AA lounge which has super fast wifi if that is a player.
There is also an Amex lounge if you have a Plat or Centurion card, which also has a pretty good spread.
