Hertz offer on Platinum

I have “spend £250, get £50 back” for Hertz on my Platinum. T&C say “Offer only valid on UK Domestic rentals only.”
Does anyone know if true? Any chance it will it trigger for US rental?

In the past, as long as you pay online it has credited for me on US bookings. Obviously wouldn’t work on pay on collection. From memory, hertz US prepay bookings can be cancelled for a full refund a few days prior to collection so you could try and see if the cashback credits.
