Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club HHAs are (maybe) back (for Golds)

I am led to believe that HHA applications have re-opened… as long as the lead is a Gold member.
I’m yet to try it (largely because my household is very small!), but if someone wanted to do the honours and report back, the form is at https://help.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/contact-forms.html?webform=household-account-request.

Didnt see your post as no idea what your HHA stood for so didnt open.

I did my own post – and YES the merged account option is back.

We are Silver, submitted the form yesterday and it was all confirmed within 15 minutes.

No, it is NOT a HHA.

What happens is that all FUTURE points earned by members go to the Head.

    Existing balances do NOT move.

To shift an existing balance you need to pay £15 and do a transfer.

Not quite sure who the response was to there, @Rob. The email I’ve received states:

Did you know? As a Gold member, you can set up a household account to pool your points and reach rewards faster. It’s as easy as filling out the form – what’s not to love?

Existing balances don’t move under e.g. a BA HHA, so the only way I see this is different is that the Head gets all future points… which is a bit of a daft move.

What I meant to say was ‘it’s not a HHA as you would understand it if you have a BA one’ – it’s a HHA in the Emirates mould.
