Just used Amex to pay for Hilton Kensington in London but it’s coming up on Amex as:
ADDA HOTELS REEDS CRESCENT
Is this going to qualify for the cash back offer??
Yes this will qualify. I did a prepaid booking at a different hotel and it came up with the same retailer name. The credit arrived the next day.
I had a Manchester restaurant appear on my statement as a medical company in London last week which freaked me out a little and I was about to report as fraud until I noticed the amount tallied with the dinner bill.
In your case though Adda Hotels is the management company for quite a few Hiltons, so you should be fine.
Is this offer still on the Amex accounts? Not appearing on any of mine or partners. (About 7 cards between us)
It expires on 16/12, I think. But it’s been around for a while and may only have been available to the first XXX members who signed up.
I have it saved. Drop me an email at Rob at headforpoints.com and I will send you one.
Used Amex to pay for Hilton Heathrow T5 (stay + restaurant). Just noted it’s coming up on statement as:
3CPAYMENT*HILTON LONDON BRISTOL.
Is the 3CPAYMENT going to cause cashback issues?Used Amex to pay for Hilton Heathrow T5 (stay + restaurant). Just noted it’s coming up on statement as:

No, it will work as it should.
Perfect. Many thanks PointsHound!
Hilton East Midlands Airport also coming up as ADDA HOTELS, statement credit appeared a couple of days later on a prepaid booking.
I’ve got two one night stays booked at HGI Hatton Cross, the first night is early Dec, the second night is 17 Dec so just outside the cashback deadline. Any experience if the hotel would be happy to take the advance payment for that second night when I stay in early December?
Why don’t you just rebook at the non-refundable rate?
My recent experience of Hilton (unlike Marriott & IHG) is that prepaid rates don’t actually take until you checkout. If this happens i definitely think you’ll have no problems asking them to take for your second stay when you checkout for your first

non-ref is dearer than my current fully flex government rate

This has not been my experience. 6 recent prepaid bookings in the UK have all been taken within a few days of making the booking across a bunch of UK Curios, Hilton and DTs. I agree with your point about asking to prepay the second stay when checking out of the first!

Thank you for the tip Northern Lass. I cancelled my flex reservations and rebooked as non-refundable. HGI charged my card the following day for both and cashback posted a couple of days later. 🙏
I have a flex rate at Canary Wharf for “twixmas”. Already been upgraded to exec room and shows as full so not going to change. May have to prepay 50 to complete spend to offer amount before then. Presumably they would refund if for any reason we had to cancel.
I’m looking to book the Hilton Prague but it’s not on the list, does anyone have any experience of this situation and getting the credit?
Got it on my BAPP but first time an equivalent offer hasn’t appeared on my OH’s supplementary card. No sign of it on the Plat Card.

My partner has it on her BAPP (main cardholder), my supp doesn’t have it. I do have it on another card tho (old MR Express card). maybe its one per person
Only got it on my BA AMEX, not the BAPP or Plat. May have something to do with having redeemed the last offer on the latter two cards perhaps? Anyway good timing as staying in London next weekend and booked a pay at hotel rate some time ago in case the offer resurfaced!
As above, on both our BAPPs but not our supps. They must not actually have wanted us to use all the offers last time! Welcome though, as I’d like to revisit the Hilton Vienna Plaza on our July trip. I am assuming the offer still triggers on pre-paid stays!
