We have booked LHR – MAD – LIM In business using accompanying voucher. Flights LHR – LAD are on BA and we have reserved seats. I am Silver status. However have been unable to book seats MAD – LIM & return on Iberia. None of the suggested links from BA to IB websites have worked. Also tried Iberia site direct. Any suggestions?
Have you got the IB confirmation refernece as you’ll need that to access the IB booking?
It should be on the booking email. Othereise see what comes up if you put your BA booking ref into QANTAS or Finnair MMB. Failing that BA should be able to provide it to you.
One thing I would do first is use the BA website to try and select seats. If it comes up with something like ‘click here to go to Iberia’ then further down the page the IB Ref might be displayed.
Thanks I have the IB booking code and when I use this on their website it says one of your flights is managed by a different company, please log in to the [BA] website with the relevant code. I also tried Qantas as you said and message says booked by a travel agent and speak with them. Back to square one I guess I need t9 speak to BA
Iberia may not yet allow seat reservations if you booked a year in advance. Seat reservations may appear a few months nearer to the flight.
Hi, I managed to book my seats on IB for my J MAD-BOG return around 11 months out. For free BA! For free!!
