Hi
I left my headphones on a BA flight. I’ve tried using BA Smart Carte, but they’ve basically been useless and told me no.
I’ve put in a claim to Aviva, they’ve now asked for
A police report, which shows the details of the incident. Alternatively a loss report from your tour representative, hotel or similar.
BA don’t seem to have a obvious way to provide this.
Anyone know how to get a Loss Report so that I can file my claim, please?
Many thanks
I also lost my headphones on a flight previously and had to use Smarte Carte – however my item was found and returned to me.
As Heathrow is private property, the Police will not provide a report (see: here).
You could contact Heathrow online, but they will likely direct you back to Smarte Carte. If you have an email from Smarte Carte confirming your item cannot be found, I would send this through to Aviva.
