Most GHDs work everywhere, for future reference.
Three are quite a few appliances we’ve found that do work in the US with an adapter plug e.g. my shaver and laptop, as the charger for each of them works within a range of 110 to 240v. All appliances should have this information on them. As others have said, using a 240v appliance in a 110v outlet is dangerous and will likely ruin your appliance.
