I have reward flights booked NCL to JFK. I want to upgrade the JFK to LHR route either with cash or avios. I’m currently in economy and ideally would like to upgrade to business with Avios or cash. It says when i login to my account that i have to call to upgrade with money – will they let me upgrade two classes? Or upgrade once, then once again? I’m just keen to hear if anyone has done this before?
You can’t ‘upgrade’ an Avios booking per se.
If Avios seats open up then you can call and rebook.
For cash, you may get an option at check-in if you ask, but note that you won’t earn Avios or tier points for doing so because the rules of the original ticket stick if you upgrade at the airport.
