Not true, on USA redemptions it is always cheaper using points even without the current 20% off and I’m guessing that is the case elsewhere as well.

Wow okay fair enough!! Just relating my own experience for around Atlanta and Orlando areas where typically a property at $150 will be around 20k points or less = $100 with this promo.
