My offer was different – got the email today for stay 4 nights, get 10k, twice.
I have the bonus elite nights offer. Very pleased as I mucked up the accelerated Platinum status registration earlier this year and I was going to be a couple of nights short in all likelihood of meeting the threshold. This will get me over the bar, fingers crossed.

I have the bonus elite nights one. I would much prefer points. I could possibly get the 4 nights in (definitely not 8), but I keep Diamond through Ambassador and it won’t really move the needle on milestone rewards. So likely Hilton for me the next month.

That does seem to be there marketing focus on this, main focus is the milestone rewards so drawing a comparison with being given status from creation or ambassador isn’t really fair. AFAIK you don’t get the milestone rewards when that happens

They meant it more in the way of “actual nights” as opposed to “gifted nights / status” from creation or ambassador

Might be a waste of time for you John but it’s very useful for a lot of us.
Very happy to have received the possibility of 8 bonus nights as already have 7 booked during that period – one more night and that brings me to 70 for extra suite upgrades 🙂
Got the elite nights offer but as have completed over 100 nights and hit all the milestones it’s redundant.
Does say though that it only runs till 10th October so perhaps they’ll have something juicy for us later.
I’ve just hit the first 4 elite nights after a stay a couple of days ago. Posted at the same time as the stay.
Only seems to work for paid nights rather than reward nights (which I have had 3 of during the promo period).
Does take me to within 2 nights of my next milestone, so 10k points or 5 x food / beverage rewards for that.
Shame the promo doesn’t last until say the end of October. Not really sure if I’m going to have 4 more IHG nights in the next 15 days, although I would have later in the month.
My 4 bonus nights posted yesterday along with the 2 nights stay that with 2 previous nights qualified me for the bonus.
A nice bump to my qualifying nights.
It’s worth checking the app – I found out this morning I have a custom offer like the above but up to 15 bonus night credits by 31 Dec (so stay one night, get an extra qualifying night credit aside from the usual). Nothing received on email. With the birthday bonus (which I did get notified about on email) and the paltry 2k every 2 nights it adds up to quite a nice package, especially as I should hit the lounge access milestone, then activate it in January for 2 years of use.
