IHG spend £300 get £75 back offer – restaurant?

Hi all,
I’m £75 short of getting £75 back.
I’m going to struggle to stay anywhere.
Could I eat at the restaurant of my local Crowne Plaza (yes it’s on the list of participating locations), I assume this would count towards the spend?

I look at the rest of the terms, no mention of it.

You may be OK but last time albeit not with this offer reception advised that not possible!

‘It depends’ is the boring answer.

If the restaurant uses the same credit card account as the hotel then it WILL count. If the restaurant is set up with its own card account then it won’t count.

If your credit card payment slip says ‘InterContinental Park Lane’ and not ‘Theo Randall’ at the top then it should be OK, and if it doesn’t, it won’t.

This recently worked in my favour at Renaissance St Pancras where the deposit for the HfP party triggered the 7,500 points bonus for eating in the hotel restaurant.

All looks good, just purchased a coffee. The card receipt was headed “Crowne Plaza Reading” 🎉

Just an update, we had lunch on Saturday at CP Reading, spent just over the required amount, received an email this morning to say I’ve triggered the cashback.
