As I understand it, if a child turns 2 during the trip (<2 on outbound), they can still be priced as an infant (10%) for the whole trip. All about the small wins!
Do we know if this applies if booked on partner airlines using avios?
Need to tread very carefully here as it’s a BA policy to give you a “free” seat, they can’t give away other airlines seats! I remember reading at least one case where BA didn’t charge for a seat on Cathay Pacific and Cathay charged for it , which BA ended up paying cash for as it was their mistake
Likely you’ll need to book as 2 x OW and book a child seat for the return leg unless you can do a return on BA metal
Agreed I don’t think it works on partners. It’s really useful on BA though. I have used it on a flight back from Singapore
