    thanks @bill

if you buy a Virgin Wines gift card you can call up Virgin Wines, add that to your newly created account, then avail yourself of the 4k Virgin points with a cut-price case offer for a few pounds less! 🤣

Does anyone know if Jam Doughnut still allow Amex for gifts cards? I noticed today that TopGiftCards no longer accepts Amex. Thanks

It was a couple of days ago so presumably still yes. One of the benefits….

Just tried with Amex Platinum and payment failed

Weird. Definitely works. Did you try Apple Pay / similar or straight? The fact Amex works is a big plus.

This is the only way to get discount on places like Tesco and Ikea, which alone makes it worthwhile to me.

Tesco is 3% on Airtime, 4% at PAW, 4% at Viv-Up
Ikea is 3% on Airtime, 4% at PAW, 4% with Pluxee, 6% at Viv-Up

These just aren’t equivalent. With Jam Doughnut you can stand in queue in Sainsburys waiting to pay, log on to the app, get Amex points on spend and immediate cashback. You can also use in venues you were never expecting to be in, which you can’t do where you need to pre-buy gift cards.

I’m trying to purchase £100 Tesco voucher. My options are gpay or bank transfer. Gpay defaults to my amex platinum. I’m on android

Got it working by using the website to purchase the voucher. The website gave me the option of directly typing in a payment card in addition to bank transfer/ gpay

Why focus on the method, when it’s the %discount that matters?

Viv-up lets you buy Gift Cards or E-Gift Cards with Amex.
Pluxee is a pre-paid debit card so you just load up from time to time and spend to get a rebate.

So tell me how can 3.8% rebate with Jam Doughnut at Ikea be better than buying an instant E-card with a 6% rebate using my Amex card from Viv-Up?

Or how a 12.8% rebate on Jam Doughnut at Naked Wines is better than the current 25% rebate at Naked Wines on Barclaycard?

Viv Up isn’t open to all though, is it?

    1,227 posts

Nope and for me some discounts are exactly the same if not better than my work portal (also instant so not an issue with either there)

It’s good to have options but I’d always choose the one with most discount 🙂

@captain kirk, just used yours. Here’s mine BZFQ.

Daft question time, big fan of TCB but I’ve not used a giftcard site before mainly due to the inability to use amex, so do they send an email egift card to use in store or does it siting the app??

It’s all in the App. Incredibly easy / it really does take seconds. And no waiting to see if it tracks / eventually pays unlike Topcashback. Unless anyone has any experience to the contrary Jam Doughnut works perfectly every time.

Why not give it a go. Referral code: GASU.
