So I’m Diamond Elite and purchased Ambassador and extended status til 2023. I have a 3 nights stay later this month booked via Amex FHR at The Regent, Berlin. As booked via FHR I added my membership no during booking but not showing in upcoming stays in IHG app. Should I contact hotel in advance of stay to ensure they have my status? I assume I will receive FHR entitlement, which included $100 credit, plus $20 Ambassador credit?
Enrolled in the Ambassador Programme in February 2022 and IHG CC say that this is valid until mid April 2023 which I know is incorrect as my account shows expiry on 1st April 2023.
I know a link appears on the Ambassador login page to renew. Does this link on the Ambassador page become active exactly 92 days before renewal which in my case would be 30th December for renewal? I’d rather not phone the call centre to renew as they seem to be blissfully unaware of the 92 day rule.
Really could be doing with catching the current Ambassador renewal offer and renewing Diamond would be an added bonus.
Data point – I renewed Ambassador when this offer appeared, stayed 2 nights at the Kimpton Blythswood (the spa is amazing) last week (using the BOGOF) and the 20k points posted together with the ones for the stay today. The 2 nights at Blythswood Sq cost me a total of £229 due to staying on a Thursday and Friday so it feels like a good result!
Ah, I assumed the wk’end free night voucher was for Fri+Sat or Sat+Sun only. A shame that it can’t be used at Kimpton’s from next year.
@faethepit I’m wondering the same. I rejoined ambassador in early January last year and my expiry is 1 March 2023. It doesn’t currently allow me to renew but I’m hoping it will at T-92 days. Since my renewal is due before yours I’ll try and remember to report back on what happens. I’m also keen to take advantage of the current offer, especially as I narrowly missed one last time!

Is it possible to hold more than one complimentary night voucher at the same time? I haven’t used mine yet, and I’m unlikely to do so before 31/12, but would like to renew Ambassador before then to take advantage of this offer (my renewal date will be 30/12).

20k points posted with the standard points for my 2 nights using the Ambassador voucher in Madrid.
20k posted even though I signed up for Ambassador before the bonus offer came in in September. Snagged the diamond upgrade until 31st Dec 2022, as I was already Ambassador before this – I am presuming there is no way to extend to 2023, I can’t re-purchase the Ambassador to trigger this?

Ah so even now, at least through to the end of 2022, you can use the AMB. BOGOF night midweek?

Yes I meant re. Kimpton, for some reason assumed the ability to use the BOGOF voucher there mid week was gone, however I see it’s still there. A shame that it’s IC’s at wk’end’s only from next year.
It looks to me like this offer has been pulled. The link in my email no longer works and all trace of the offer has been scrubbed from the IHG website.

I won’t post the Ts&Cs from the email but there’s no link to a promotion page. Just join Amb by paying 40K points or $200 by end of Dec and stay 2 nights before 31/1 to receive 20k points.

That’s really annoying that the offer got pulled! I was about to pull the trigger today, as got 40k points to do it.
Wondering if I should just take the risk and sign up anyways. Have a committed Kimpton stay later this month, and will do it regardless of whether I go AMB or not.
Have checked emails, nothing today from IHG… but maybe they are doing it in batches and I will get mine tomorrow or next few days.
Having said that, I never got the offer email back in Aug/Sep, although I did get it back in Mar/Apr.
Link doesn’t work for me either now, endless loop of redirects. Does anyone think it’s worth buying AMB anyway and then ringing customer service to try and get the 20k points if they don’t post automatically?

Thanks, used another browser and it did work in the end, Diamond now showing until 21/12/2023 and the offer is also showing on the app so all good.
