Large payment coming up – can I use my Amex?

Hi All – i’m super new to the Amex/ Avios points game – that being sent Ive managed to bag myself a biz seat to cape town +a return with my companion and some avios. Super pleased about that !!

I have a large payment coming up shortly in the region of £25k – I have the cash for this, but wondered if i could use my Amex and pay the cash in to Amex.

The place I’m paying does not take Amex – does anyone have a work around on using amex where amex is not accepted ?

does anyone have a work around on using amex where amex is not accepted ?

Do they take paypal linked to AE?
