London City Airport twilight check-in

Is this a thing, or anybody know anything about it?

No such thing exists at City. I even think bag drop is limited to a couple of hours before your flight anyway. Limited storage at the airport doesn’t allow for anything fancier.

Should have checked the website first, as the info is fairly easily accessible:

Sleep tight, travel light! Bid adieu to luggage worries with overnight service, available for British Airways, KLM and Luxair. You can now drop off your bags form 4pm the day before, for flights departing London City Airport on or before 10:00am the next day.

Overnight Bag Drop is available if you are travelling on a flight departing before 10:00. You can check in your bags between 16:00–20:30 the day before.

My apologies – you’re quite right! This must be a fairly recent development, as this wasn’t available last year for sure.
