LHR Clubhouse query

Just wanted to check that if two people are traveling in UC, they can bring two people on same flight (not UC) as guests to the Clubhouse. No Gold status. Do the guests also avail complimentary beauty experience? Previously, when I went on my own many years ago, I got a mini facial etc, but now it states hair styling or nail care. Does anyone have a link to the menu?

Also, I have a spend £2k get £250 back on my Platinum. Is it cumulative as I have two Virgin CC vouchers?

Yes you can guest them in.

There is no spa anymore so no beauty treatments. I think they even removed the hair salon.

Thanks for confirming. Shame about the spa. Came across a Gatwick Clubhouse spa menu. but it must be an old one. is the food better than other lounges available with Priority Pass?

AFAIK Virgin closed the Gatwick clubhouse in 2020. In the UK, there is only the LHR location now…

I’ve not been this year, but can confirm that:-
a) the food remains so much better at the Clubhouse than the Priority Pass lounges and the choice of drinks is 10x better.
b) the spa has definitely gone, as has the hair salon. There are no complimentary treatments.
c) the pool table remains, as does the small outside area where you can do some planespotting (just go up the stairs in the middle of the lounge and up again)
d) it is signficiantly busier than it used to be, so get there a little early just to be sure you get in.

Thanks all. I read that the spa was closed around Covid time. They should reopen it or at least have a paid option for short treatments. Makes a great start to a journey!

At least LHR has a Clubhouse! I got an email about our MAN-MCO departure the other day, boasting that we have “exclusive access to our shared lounge”, which is surely a contradiction in terms?

Instead of the Spa/beauty treatment you now have the splender of exercise bikes!! Been in the Clubhouse several times and yet to see anyone on them and I did read they are being removed!!!

If it’s the same as mine, the T&Cs say “one or more transactions”. It says it must be for a flight, excludes other things like Holidays, and doesn’t exclude redemptions on my reading of the rules, but they might argue that TFCs on a redemption isn’t paying for a flight as such.
