Hi,
I last posted about LHR – HND (BA) / DOH – HND (QR)route being taken over by JAL, currently there still shows BA availability for this, however, does this mean JAL will actually be operating the route not JAL? Quite confused about the fact there is still BA availability.
Thank you

Me too!
does this mean JAL will actually be operating the route not BA?*
Just to clarify, if you do book the BA will you actually get JAL (This is what I hope happens)
That’s not very patriotic of you.
You should be supporting London’s finest.
Might be London’s finest but no way near World finest thats for sure
Is somebody aware of the removal of the BA5 (and return) flights in Jan 2024 (stopped on the 6th, restarting on the 23rd) has something to do with the accident in HND?
I’d highly doubt they’d remove the route for so long. We’re due on the flight on the 23rd… wonder if this increases the chances of delays 🤨
I know it’s a different route, but our taxes in F going LHR to HND recently were £671. When I was pricing this up last year they were well over £1k. When I queried at the time the price differences in taxes, I was told they fluctuate.

Not necessarily. The route had LOOOTS of delays when the 787 was being used but it is a 777 in the next couple of months

I have booking for BA7 in July seems they are using a350k for the route
So my friend booked for September 2024 and was told that his flight is changing to JAL, he also had the code of BA7
Can I sense check — we’re thinking of sitting one behind the other in window seats as they’re more private and we think we’ll go a bit crazy without a window. I know honeymoon is a bit tricky to speak to each other in anyway so we can just talk over the back of the seat. Is that daft?
Wish ours was swapped to JAL but our flight is in 5 days and no notification!
We always take two window seats – you can always talk to each when you get to your destination!
