My wife flew from STN recently and accessed the lounge with PP.
She had a 45 minute wait and the lady on the counter said it is only going to get worse when all the “On the Beach” crowd kick in in May.
I recently left from GTW with THY business, the lounge was appalling with similar and I actually moved to the lounge upstairs where I accessed on my Platinum card.
It seems to me that the selling of lounge access to the package holiday industry is resulting in a poorer product for those travelling business class and those with a full access PP card.
Just a bit of FYI
Bristol has already announced that it is dropping Priority Pass and replacing it with On The Beach customers, who presumably are (indirectly) paying more.

But are ‘those type of customers’ going to end up costing the lounge more, through all the additional ‘free’ alcohol that they will presumably be drowning themselves in? (or so the stereotype would have us believe).
I think it is insulting to assume OTB customers are all lower class piss heads
You have to book a 4- or 5-star hotel to get lounge access.
Remember the lounge pays no duty on its booze so it is probably cheaper to supply than a soft drink.

It is insulting especially as only 1% are not lower class piss heads!
😉
btw can you pre book for a £5 at this lounge?
