Man – Dub book with Avios doing something wrong?

Followed Rob’s advice created Aer Lingus a/c https://www.headforpoints.com/2024/04/07/avios-seats-on-aer-lingus-short-haul-are-cheaper-at-aerlingus-com/ and transferred 15000 Avios

Logged into aer club to make a dummy booking all it offered was £50 off for 10000 avios

I must be doing something wromg!!

Sounds like you tried to pay with Avios for a regular cash booking instead of booking a Reward Flight with Avios.
