Marriott have emailed details of a new partnership with Emirates, similar to the Qantas/Accor tie up.
On flights: “As a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member, you’ll earn 3 Marriott Bonvoy points per US$1 spent on eligible flights, on top of your Skywards Miles” and on on hotel stays: “If you’re an Emirates Skywards Silver, Gold, or Platinum member, you’ll earn 1 Skywards Mile per US$1 spent on eligible stays,1 on top of your Marriott Bonvoy points”.

I think that’s been around for at least a few years
Apologies, I was only aware of the United partnership. There is a HfP article from 2020 on the Emirates one https://www.headforpoints.com/2021/01/05/your-world-rewards-marriott-emirates/
