Move points from Business Gold when cancelling

Hi all,

I need to close my business gold card, Are you able to move amex points earned on a business gold card to the free personal amex rewards credit card.

I know you can do it from a personal card but i can’t find anywhere that mentions it from a business card

You shouldn’t have two separate Membership Rewards accounts. You should only have one.

It’s probably easiest to first call Amex and merge your two MR accounts together, and then – once done – cancel the card. There is then zero risk of any issues.
