5,000 Avios bonus from Barclaycard appeared [renamed]

Am I mistaken but I thought there was going to be an enhanced sign up bonus today for HFP readers for the Barclaycard avios cards

I propose February 28th be remembered as a national day.

Just got a text from Barclaycard saying they’re sorry for the hiccups earlier this month and they’ll be adding 5,000 avios to my account over the next 6 weeks. I think they don’t want early joiners to be worse off… That’s great!

Flat offer I reckon. I raised a complaint but received a letter saying it had been resolved and case closed once they’d refunded me my first month’s fee.

While I would have preferred to have had no problems at all, I’ve eventually ended up with the first month refunded and 5,000 additional Avios. A more than satisfactory conclusion to the saga!
