No signs of Virgin 241 voucher

I recently earned the Virgin credit card 241 voucher and even received an email confirming that. The email mentioned the voucher will arrive in 30 days. However, it has now been 33 days but there are no signs of the voucher. I have been constantly looking for that line item in the Virgin account without any luck. I am looking to cancel the card before the annual fee hits my account.
Can someone confirm the timelines for the 241 voucher earned recently from the moment the email was received to the moment it hit the Virgin account? Also, if I cancel the card in order to escape the fee, will the voucher still arrive?
Are you checking in your Flying Club account as opposed to credit card account?
Ive never seen a voucher in my account, but that doesnt mean you dont have one. Show on CC statement.

No, if you cancel you still have the voucher. You have earned that voucher.
There isn’t really a voucher to see. There isn’t something you can print out that says “voucher”.
There is a line in the transaction list in your flying club account and that’s it. Check those from the date of the statement where it said you earned it. IIRC even the transaction live isn’t very descriptive.
In your Virgin Atlantic points activity there should be a line saying “Virgin Atlantic Credit Card Reward Voucher” 0 points, dated within days of hitting the spend target, which for me was many weeks before Virgin’s email belatedly turned up.
Either way, as you need to call to book using the voucher anyway, to be certain just call up to make sure Virgin Atlantic reps can see the voucher in your account if you can’t.

Hi @All – Thanks for your respective responses. What I meant by this was that the line entry never appeared on my Virgin Red or Virgin Atlantic accounts. Anyway, I gave Virgin Flying Club a call as suggested here but they confirmed there’s no voucher in my account. I would cancel my card in next few days before the fee hits, hoping to receive the voucher as @mrcrsearle suggested.
The voucher usually hits at the same time the email is sent – very strange that you’re not seeing it. I would query this with Virgin Money, rather than Flying Club, to find out where the voucher is at.

Thanks @AL. Yes, logged a case with Virgin Money for the missing voucher. They said they will be in touch within 5 business days. Let’s see how it goes.
