It’s been an age since I’ve been on the dreaded old Club World. But fly on on an A380-800 to Dallas in a few weeks, which will be nice as not been on one for a long time either! Anyone got any good advice on the best seat, currently in 50B, but 50A also available to me. I seemed to recall this front row the window although facing backwards seemed to be the one that nobody could step over ??
Thanks !
Nobody steps over any of the window seats, by definition they are next to the window. From there you step over others.
53A/K and 59A/K are the best imho, both in terms of space and not having to step over anyone to get out.
I had a similar dilemma on a booking on the A380 back from SIN and I was advised the row 50 is near the loos and has no window. Rows 53 and 59 were taken by the window so I opted for 59D/E – although a middle seat 59E has easy access to the aisle and as it’s only a row of 3 no one stepping over you.
59k on my last A380 flight had almost no padding left in the seat- squashed to oblivion over the years!
IF you are paying real money then avoid ying Yang BA it’s no cheaper than decent competition.
The ailse seats at back on lower deck have no one climbing over you, the window and middle seat on upper deck have no one treading over you.

That is not correct. The front aisle seats in each cabin have no one to climb over them. The back row aisle is always ‘climbed over’ from the window or centre seat one row in front.
You need to check the seat maps on aerolopa.com as the layout makes it clear which window seats require stepping over someone and which don’t.

My advice came from looking at aerolopa
Thanks all for the info. Unfortunately somebody has already bagged 53A/K and 59A/K … best to stick with 50B ?

That’s because they’re the best seats 🙂
Depends on your priorities. Personally I hate any of the aisle seats as they are completely exposed. If you don’t have a problem stepping over others then any window is fine, if you are more vertically challenged or less able then obviously access is more important.
If you’re not fussed about a window then 53E and 59E are worth considering. The middle seats upstairs have a bit of additional width, and those two being at the back of each cabin also don’t have to step over anyone to get out.

Thanks everyone for their input. I will move to 50A for now, see if anything changes. I’m only flying this for one leg, back via JFK and during the day so not a huge deal.
