Maybe a long shot given majority of readers are based in the UK but does anybody have recommendations for great snowboarding options in Asia?
The last three years I’ve managed to snag 5-4-4 using points at Hilton Niseko in Hokkaido, but it’s showing as sold out for next year already. Prices at the RC Reserve next to Hilton are >10k for 5 nights, and Park Hyatt up the road is currently 8k.
I’ve read good things about Hakuba, albeit with a more local vibe (which I don’t mind – Niseko is getting overrun by snogans).
Other than Japan are there any hidden gems? Korea?
I’ve heard India has some up and coming ski resorts but that’s slightly too adventurous for my taste. Bonus points if the resort has a hotel from one of the big chains. At least you know what to expect. Not a fan of Airbnb or slumming it in some random’s house. Also, no mainland China.

Maybe try Latin America instead? Since this is HfP you can fly there with Avios and 241 vouchers and ski during our northern hemisphere summer.
