Pay HMRC with Amex

I just saw an article on HFP saying that you will be able to pay HMRC with Amex. Anyone have any more details?

Ahhh that’s a shame. Made a payment to HMRC last week… will bluechain also work when sending pension payments to pension company for tax relief?

But a 2.3% fee for Amex transactions doesn’t sound very useful to most people. It’s a B2B payment platform so this is hardly a surprise.
