Hi all,
So it’s the 1st of March and AMEX (as expected) lifted the £250 on the card. I’ve paid this off right away, I do like to clear my credit cards immediately.
My card has a 10.5K credit limit. I paid off the £250 fee and it now shows as I have 10.750 as the limit.
How do I interpret that? To me it almost looks like when you get a refund / overpay on your credit card so that it goes into “minus” where the card or bank owes you money. I am almost certain it is not the case but would anyone shine some light at this?
Ty!
I believe that if you make payment before the transaction has fully posted then it look likes you have extra money to spend.
Overpayments onto the account will show as increased “credit limit” as you have the account credit plus the credit line offered by the card provider.
