Platinum sign up bonus in July

I signed up for platinum on 24 July, a referral from a gold.
I got my bonus today for spending £4k, 30000 plus 5000 referral bonus. Was that the offer in July, rather than the 60k?

Did you not make a note of the offer when you applied? It’s usually very clear on the referral and application pages. Offers also differ, so the 60k might have been from signing up via a different method than being referred. You may need to contact Amex and get them to check the terms which applied to your application, though they’re not always correct and the only way to prove it definitely is to keep some sort of record like a screenshot of the page you applied from.

The 60k sub ended on 13/06 and you had to spend £6k in 6 months…

Thanks both. I think I did get the correct amount, I was confusing a few things.
