I understand that BA opens up theses 355 days in advance and they sell out straight away for first class and for some business on routes like Sydney. Is there any pattern to additional seats opening up. I know that I can set alerts on Seat Spy but I don’t want to be hanging around for months just in case. I’d prefer to move on to a different city or just pay with cash.
There’s absolutely loads of info on here about this, search the site (241/companion voucher threads are a good start). Rob did an article just the other day about SYD availability and ways of maximising your chances, which also applies to other routes. Also his article and many posts about starting in the regions and extra availability if you have a 241.
Also F are not guaranteed to be released and if they do appear, it’s often some time after T-355.
